International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP)
I am trilled to announce that I was chosen in a selection process involving all Brazilian consulates as the professional ambassador to represent Brazil in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Mission for Mega Sporting Events and Economic Prosperity. It was a 20-day trip, covering 5 American cities and a total of 21 countries represented.
The journey began in Washington, D.C. and continued to Miami, Kansas City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles., immersing myself in the behind-the-scenes aspects of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the LA 2028 Olympic Games, working with the main organizing entities of these mega-events.
Main subjects of the Program:
- Explore past and future U.S. host communities of past major sporting events, such as the Olympics, Paralympics, and FIFA World Cup;
- Discuss how national sporting organizations help prepare communities to host events that meet the needs of athletes;
- Illustrate how state and regional level governmental and private entities support legacy venues and their continued use.
I would like to express my immense gratitude to: US consulate in Rio and the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) for this extraordinary and unforgettable experience.

Professor Bianca Gama Pena was selected by the International Olympic Committee to join the Olympism365 program, representing Brazil in the global group focused on sports innovation and technology.
